Week Two of the Fall 2023 season is in the books.

We had our first fundraiser of the season last weekend. The Johnny Cochran Greased Lightning. Congratulations to our winners:

Members,

Week One of the Fall 2023 season is in the books. I hope everyone enjoyed getting back together and playing pool!

This Sunday is our first Fundraiser Tournament! The Johnny Cochran Greased Lightning at Eagle LA is a 15 second shot clock tournament. How fast can you shoot? Greased Lightning is usually one of the most popular tournaments and I look forward to seeing you there! Registration starts at Noon, play starts at 1pm!

Members Meeting

Players Meeting Tuesday 9/5 @ 8pm

Members-

Our players meeting will be this coming Tuesday at 8pm over at Jerry's. All captains must be there, if there is a conflict- a designated co-captain must be in attendance.

As part of this meeting, we will be doing the following:

Voting on updates to our By-Laws and Rules of Play
Live demonstrations of fouls to ensure everyone has clear interpretations
Discussing proper procedure for any disputes that occur during a match
Introducing Captain's Council
Collecting season dues: $260 per Team + $20 per new player for BCA membership fee

Please email over your current rosters by this Friday so we can assign new players to a team as we have a number of new folks that want to join. If players from your team last year are not returning, let us know as well.

Motion from Bryan Haneiwich and Al Ballesteros to clarify and correct errors in the By-Laws. The file shows redline/blueline changes that are proposed. Some of the changes (as indicated) were passed at previous meetings and not incorporated into the file at the time. There will be additional formatting corrections done as well.
