BOG Nominations:  We have three nominations for three open seats on the BOG.  These are, Al Ballesteros, Malisa Mapu and Arturo Carrillo.  Nominations are now closed and the BOG will determine whether or not an official election is needed given we have three nominees for three open seats.  

 

Lucky Draw Scotch Doubles Tournament:  We congratulate Justin Yau and Ian Dodrill for taking first place and Cliff Giles, Jr., and Tre Rounds for taking second place at last Saturday's tournament.  We thank everyone who came out to pay.

 

Next Tournament, Sunday, October 9 - 8 Ball:  Double elimination, singles 8 Ball Tournament @ Trunks.  Sign-up at 12 noon and play at1:00 p.m.  Please bring a friend and introduce them to the Los Angeles Pool League.  

 

Current Stats:  As we enter week 8, Better Luck Next Time with Captain Phil Stephens is in First Place and holds on to a narrow three game lead over Stroke of Genius captained by Al Ballesteros.  In Third Place is White on Rice captained by Jon Bourgault.   Tommy Nguyen is leading the individuals at a score of .920%, followed by James Prather at .857% and Tre Rounds in third with a .833.  Malisa Mapu leads in the Women's roster with a .875, followed by Lori Perry with a .600% and Marney Cameron with a .583%.  Who will lead the pack going into weeks 9 and 10.  We will have to wait and see.
