Dear Members,

BOG Elections: We would like to welcome to the BOG or new governors Malisa Mapu, Arturo Carillo and returning is Al Ballesteros. Because we only had three nominees for three available seats, the BOG accepted those nominated as elected.

Week 11 Play: Please note that next week's games (week 11) of play are scheduled for Tuesday, November 1st. All teams witout a scheduled match have a bye.

Playoffs: Playoffs will begin on Tuesday, November 8. We will have a calendar posted by mid-next week with the brackets and locations of play.

Gold & Silver Star Tournament: We want to thank everyone that came out to last weekend's Gold and Silver Star Tournament at Trunks. It was a fun tournament and very competitive.
The winners were:
Gold Star Division, 1st Place was Jim Prather, 2nd Place was Arnell Ferry, 3rd Place was Julian Auzenne and 4th Place was Russ Pepin.
Silver Star Division 1st Place was Lupillo Rocha, 2nd Place was Monty Kimball, 3rd Place was Justin Tulloss and 4th Place was John.

Congratulations to all that played.

Week Eleven Fall 2016

Dear Members,

Another season has just ended and next week we will go into the playoffs. Finishing as the top team, "Stroke of Genius" captain Al Ballesteros followed by "Better Luck Next Time" captain Phil Stephens and in third place, "White on Rice" captain Jon Bourgault. The top individual was Tommy Nguyen with a .838 average followed by Tre Rounds with a .778 average. On the women's side, Malisa Mapu finished on top with a .708 average followed by Saeromi Kim with a .607.

Playoffs begin Tuesday, November 8. The brackets are on-line and please make note of the locations listed.

Week Nine Fall 2016

Dear Members,

Next Tournament: Our next fundraiser will be the Gold/Silver Stars Tournament held at Trunks Bar this Saturday, Oct 22nd. 12:00-1:00pm registration and matches will start around 1:15pm. This last tournament is a must go! It is for players of all levels! So come out to see how you measure up with your other league friends!

Nominations Most Improved Players: We are accepting nominations for Most Improved Player recognitions. If you want to nominate yourself or another league member, please send that here to our attention.

BOG Meeting: We will have a meeting of the Board of Governors this Saturday, October 22 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Trunks. This meeting will occur just before the Gold/Silver Stars Tournament. Agenda items will include: Finance Report, Discussion of Playoff Brackets and Schedule, Awards Party and our participation in the upcoming West Coast Challenge in San Francisco. There will also be an item on the Agenda for New Business or Member Input where any league member can attend and ask to address the Board on a topic of their bringing.
