Week Eight

Dear Members,

As we move into the two last weeks of play, the competition is tight with two teams currently tied for first - Rick's Picks (Trunks) and Stroke of Genius (Jerry's) with Better Luck Next Time (Trunks) in a very close third. On the Women's side, Saeromi Kim holds her lead at the top, closely followed by Maria Ritner and Charley McFeeley. On the Open Individual's side, Rick Ayers and Cliff Giles, Jr. hold the top spots. How will this all shake out? We will have a better idea after this next week of play.

Board of Governors Nominations are in for three vacant seats and those running are: Jon Bourgault, Bryan Haneiwich and Al Ballesteros. All are current members of the board.

We would like to thank those who came out to the Greased Lightening Tournament at the Eagle LA. The tournament is named in the honor of the late Johnny Cochran, long-time league member and multiple term board member and president of the league. The winners of the tournament were: Jim Stramel, First Place, Paul Kutack, Second Place, Jose Torres, Third Place and Phil Stephens in Fourth Place. Thanks to all who came out.
