The Pre-Playoff 8 Ball Tournament was held last Sunday at Trunks. It was a competitive tournament and in the end, Al Ballesteros (yours truly) took First Place,
followed by Justin Yau in Second, Arnell Ferry in Third and Vic Karanfilian in Fourth. Thanks to all who came out to play.
On behalf of the board, thank you all for a great season and we hope you have an enjoyable time in playoffs.
Shoot well and have a great time.
Sincerely yours,
Al Ballesteros, President
We had our first WCC qualifier of the season on Sunday 11/8. We want to thank Jerry's for hosting and giving us a great environment to play the tournament. The taco's were pretty good too!
We had 27 players register with Cliff graciously backing out to run the tournament and create an even number of players. So that left us with 13 Hi-Lo teams.
In 4th place we had Al Ballesteros and Tre Rounds.
In 3rd place was the team of Jon Bourgault and Jefferson Javier.
Coming from the losers bracket and taking the champs to a second match, in 2nd place was Bryan Haneiwich and Tod Davenport.
And finally our champs, who will be representing us at WCC in Long Beach: Arnell Ferry and Brian Lo Truglio. Congratulations Arnell and Brian. Make the LAPL proud at WCC!
