Next Fundraiser: "Pick-A-Parnter Tournament" will be held Sunday, April 2 at Jerry’s Family Billiardswith sign up at 12 noon and start time at 1 pm. Please bring a friend and introduce them to the LA Pool League.

Dear LAPL Members,
Attached are the stats from week one of play. We hope you had a great first match.
First Fundraiser: Our first mini-tournament/fundraiser, Greased Lightning will be held on Sunday, February 12 at the Eagle. Signup will begin at 12 noon and play at 1:00 pm. Please inform your team members to come out and enjoy a day of sportsmanship and competition. This tournament is open to all, so if you have friends or others whom you can introduce to the LA Pool League, this fundraiser would be a perfect opportunity to do so. Please make an effort to text or call your team members and invite them out this Sunday. The Greased Lightning event is named in honor of Johnny Cochran, who was a long-time member of the pool league. A full list of the weekend tournaments/fundraisers is on our calendar.

Dear LAPL Members,
Our Spring 2017 season will begin next week on Tuesday, February 7th. We will have most of our teams returning as well as a new sponsor, Johnny O'Brien's located at 5248 Van Nuys Blvd., Sherman Oaks, CA. 91401. We welcome this new venue to our league. Malisa and Kerri's team will be playing as home team there on Monday evenings. We also want to welcome our new players and thank our returning players.
Attached is the schedule of play. The schedule is also listed on our website. The current rules of play are on our website and this weekend, the revised bylaws will be posted as well. We will send a full package of the Rules of Play and Bylaws with our next Cue News.

Reporting Scores & Score Sheets:
We are requesting a uniform procedure for reporting scores from matches. We are asking that each captain (or captain's designee) verify the scores from the match and both sign the score sheet. After, we are asking that captains text a photo of the score sheet to Malisa our statistician at 619-990-5208. If you have a problem with the this procedure, please call Malisa at the same number or respond here to this email.
