Dear LAPL Members,
Welcome to week three of our stats.
Next Fundraiser: 8 - Ball for Cash Tournament - will be held this Sunday at Jerry's Billiards. Sign up at 12 noon and play at 1 p.m. This will be a 75% payout to the members and 25% retained by the league. This will be a double elimination tournament and payout to 1-4th place. Bring your friends and see you at Jerry's this Sunday, February 18. 
Results of Pick a Partner: Thanks to all who came out to the Pick a Partner at Little Joy. In 4th Place Bryan & Jefferson, in 3rd Place, Seromi & Tre; in 2nd was Al & Jose and in First Place was Ben & Ben from Little Joy.
BOG - If you are interested in running for the Board, please let us know by the end of week seven.
West Coast Challenge 77 - LA will host the West Coast Challenge July 6-8, 2018 at the Burbank Marriott Hotel. We are hoping to send a very strong contingent to the challenge, so please encourage your players to compete in the Open, Women's Hi-Lo and of course teams. If you are interested in helping with this event, please let a board member know. There will be several open tournaments for our members to participate at WCC 77. We will put out information in the next few weeks about these upcoming events.

Dear LAPL Members,
Attached are stats for week ten. Next week we will begin playoffs. Please check the calendar for games and location schedules.
Congratulations to the winners of our 8 Ball Stud Poker Tournament:
1st: Justin Yau;
2nd: Arnell Ferry;
3rd: Halsey Corbin and
4th: Arturo Carrillo.
Thanks to everyone that came out and to Bar 10 for hosting us. This was an extraordinary effort and I want to thank Arturo Carrillo, Allen Montalbano and Monty Kimball for going all out with banners, poker television and decorations. You represented us well.
Board of Governors Election: The following individuals were nominated for a seat on the board: Kerri Frasca, Gibbi Tkatch, Cliff Giles, Jr. Because we have four open seats and only three candidates, the BOG has voted to forego the election process and accept the nominees as appointed.

Next Fundraiser: Stud Poker Billiard Tournament, Saturday, April 8th at Bar 10 in WeHo. Registration begins at 12pm and starts at 1pm. Please bring a friend and introduce them to the LA Pool League.
