Los Angeles Pool League Captains and League Players,

The 2024 Fall 8 Ball season will begin this coming Tuesday, October 8th for all teams at Jerry’s Family Billiards (1312 N Lake Ave., Pasadena, CA. 91104).  At 7pm we will start our team registration followed by our Member’s Meeting where a number of motions for the future of our League will be presented and voted on by you, our members.

Immediately following the Member’s Meeting all teams will be playing their sister teams at Jerrys for our 1st week of play.

Captains, please have a copy of your roster with your players legal name (for BCA membership), current mailing address, email address and a contact phone number.  We have a number of players from Jen and Saeromi’s team that want to play this season as well as 4 or 5 new players to the League interested.  Because we are trying to be inclusive of all who want to support our League and help it grow, the Board is strongly suggesting that all teams have at least 6 players on their roster. (7 is the maximum number).

This is the first time we are combining our Members Meeting/Team registration with the 1st week of play.

Please be patient with this new process. If Captains and players can be at Jerry’s as close to 7pm as possible, it should all go smoothly and get the nights matches started at 8pm.

A fundraiser schedule will be announced in the coming weeks once we have the V.P./Fundraising Chair position filled.

The Spring 2024 Awards Party will be announced in the next couple of weeks also. The plan is to have it on the outside patio at the Eagle LA on a Tuesday evening.

If you are looking for a player, all the new players are being encouraged to show up at Jerry’s and you can meet them in person or text/e-mail me for their contact information.
