Dear Members,

Attached, please find our first week's stats. 

This Sunday, September 9 we will host a 9-Ball Mini Tournament/Fundraiser.  The event will be held at Jerry's Family Billiards and registration will start at 12 noon with play at 1 p.m.  Please let your team and others know via text or phone calls if you can. 

Our August 26th 8 Ball Tournament Winners were:  1st Place was Al Ballesteros; 2nd Place was Jose Torres and 3rd Place was Malisa Mapu.  Thanks to all who came out to support the league. 

Team Dues:  For those teams which have not paid your dues, please send these to Los Angeles Pool League, P.O. Box 2227, Hollywood, CA 90028.  You can also give your check to a member of the Board of Governors. 

Board of Governors:  Get involved in helping the league.  This season, we will be electing 3 board members.  Please put your name on the score sheet or email us here if you are interested in running for the board.  Also, if you are interested in serving on a board committee to assist with recruitment of members and new venues. please let us know.  We could use your assistance.

Board of Governors:  There are three seats on the BOG which are up.  Al, Malisa and Stephanie.  Siva Bodapati, Malisa Mapu and Al Ballesteros have put their names in. 

Greased Lightening Tournament: Sunday, October 21@12 noon at the Eagle LA. 15 second shot clock. Come out and see how fast you can shoot. 

Meeting of the Board of Governors, October 21 @ 10:00 a.m.  @ the Eagle LA.  We will meet in front of the Eagle and will have our meeting there or at one of the local coffee shops in the immediate area.  If you want to attend the meeting, please meet at Eagle at 10:00 a.m.
